For my shoot I also need a man that looks like Cornwallis from the Battle of Yorktown.

The toughest item I have had to find so far a wood model ship of one of the boston tea party ships…it can be any of them…Dartmouth, Eleanor, or the Beaver

Hi everyone, I’m in the talent and prop search mode again. I am doing a shoot on the “Bullet Proof George Washington” story (click here for Story) from the French and Indian War. I’m way excited about this because I have wanted to do it for 3 years not. It is a WWWAAAYYYY ambitious shoot, hence the reason I had not done it yet. Heaven’s!!!! Try finding and Arabian white horse, colonial english saddles and a young George Washington actor that knows how to ride, while the horse is on its hind legs….Believe it or not.ALL GLORY to GOD…We actually found that…. We are going to feature it at our Art exhibit/Music and Spoken Word Concert at the Mesa Freedom Celebration. We are putting on a FREE concert in the AIR CONDITIONED, beautiful NEW Mesa Art Center on main street in down town Mesa, AZ. We will have 2 shows a night at 6:15 pm and 7:30pm on friday and saturday July 2nd and 3rd… Hows that for a little PLUG

An American Indian chief looked scornfully at the soldiers on the field before him. How foolish it was to fight as they did, forming their perfect battle lines out in the open, standing shoulder to shoulder in their bright red uniforms. The British soldiers—trained for European war—did not break rank, even when braves fired at them from under the safe cover of the forest. The slaughter continued for two hours. By then 1,000 of 1,459 British soldiers were killed or wounded, while only 30 of the French and Indian warriors firing at them were injured.
Not only were the soldiers foolish, but their officers were just as bad. Riding on horseback, fully exposed above the men on the ground, they made perfect targets. One by one, the chief’s marksmen shot the mounted British officers.

WOW is the only word I can think of the describe all the amazing things that are happening with Captured Miracles. I know that all glory and credit goes to God because some of the events that are taking place, and the people we are being put in contact with….AND how we are coming into contact and knowledge of each other are truly and obviously miracles from Him.

First exciting bit of news is that we are putting together a series of concerts that will be music, art and spoken word. The first will be on the 4th of July. Mesa City is doing a HUGE 4th of July Celebration and we will be showing our Concert on our Heritage and the Declaration of Independence, as well as doing an art show of the first phase of our new Founding Fathers Collection. I have a few new pieces I have finished that I will give you a sneak peak of in this post. BUT to see the rest you will need to come to the concert and art exhibit in Downtown Mesa on the 2nd and 3rd of July. http://www.azcelebrationoffreedom.org/ God’s blessings are pouring out with the creation of this collection and the concert. The amazing passionate and talented people that are finding out what we are doing with the art and concerts. And wanting to be a part of it…WOW it really testifies of His hand in all of this. At request…actually reminder of my sweet friend Monica, I finished this shot that has 3 of her 4 children in it. I thought it might take me a couple more days to finish it, but when I pulled it up tonight it was basically done.

But I do need some help with it. Cropping and titling it, any Ideas?

First of all I am trying to decide on the cropping of the shot. I love the long narrow look. A favorite style of mine always. I also tend to lean more toward tight shots. I just love them cause it gets you up close and personal with the emotions in the shot. I have Three choices…Originally I envisioned the shot as Option A, a full length shot. I usually like to stick with what has been envisioned cause I feel that it is inspiration. But I do have to admit that I am afraid that the shot is so far back that you don’t get what is going on it it. The shot is of siblings being separated from each other and they are grasping for each other to pull themselves back together as a family. With Christ in the middle holding them together. This can represent a number of meanings. Divorces, sibling separation through foster care, a family dealing with addictions. Unseen forces tearing families apart. If you look closely you can see hands fading into the darkness as they are pulling the children apart from each other.

When I was a teenager I was given a special blessing that said my artistic talents would touch the lives of many who needed my special help and assistance and when the time was right I would be an instrument in the hands of the Lord in bringing about the true purposes of Isreal. I never understood what that all ment as a young girl and even as an adult I was confused by it. As I move forward with Captured Miracles I see the words in that blessing coming to life. I know so strongly that for some reason timing is very important, that now is the time for it. I don’t know the reason why, but I know one day I will look back and see why. Everything is falling into place so perfectly, even though I move forward and at times have no idea how it will happen. This has been such a testimony builder of just having faith in HIM. I know that the Lord’s hand is playing a major role, and I am so excited to see where this will go, and how many children it will help.

I am still in the process of selecting which foundations I want the proceeds from the site to go too. I know for sure I want to help children that are being abused. My heart aches for the babies and children that are unwanted and unloved. I want so badly to take them each in my arms and hug them, and kiss them, and let them know how much they are loved and wanted. If with these efforts, I am to make a difference in helping just one child know and experience the unconditional love that the Lord has for them. That there are so many others out there that love and care for them as well, that they are not alone. Wow, then I know that Captured Miracles has done its mission. How humbling it is to know that the talents God gave me, I can give back to HIM and be an instrument in the his hands to answer a child’s prayer. Really makes you take a step back and see how our lives are all intertwined with each other. That each of us can play a role in helping God to answer a prayer for someone, somewhere, if we just move forward and do what he whispers to our heart to do. Even if we don’t know how it will come together, he will provide a way for his work to be done. All we need to do, IS DO!
